First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether artificial intelligence can accurately evaluate how well surgeons perform a key step in heart bypass surgery. About 284 patients having their first bypass will have their surgeon's stitching technique analyzed by both AI and human experts. The goal is to see if AI scores match expert ratings, which could help train future surgeons more effectively.
