First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether using artificial intelligence to read electrocardiograms (ECGs) helps emergency room doctors diagnose and treat a severe type of heart attack (occlusion myocardial infarction) more quickly. About 212,000 adults who get an ECG in the ER will take part. The goal is to see if AI speeds up treatment and lowers costs, without changing standard care.
