AI 'Optical Biopsy' aims to spot cancer, spare patients unnecessary procedures
NCT ID NCT06435286
Summary
This study is testing a new mobile, AI-assisted camera device designed to help doctors better see and identify early signs of esophageal cancer during a routine screening procedure. The goal is to see if this technology can make cancer detection more accurate and reduce the number of unnecessary biopsies patients need. The study will enroll 200 high-risk adults in the US and Brazil who are already scheduled for a standard esophageal cancer screening.
