Summary
This study tested a smartphone app designed to screen for and monitor depression. Researchers enrolled 166 Spanish-speaking adults to see if the app could accurately detect depression by analyzing how people describe images and respond to verbal cues. The goal was to validate the app as a digital tool for identifying and tracking symptoms of major depressive disorder.
