Can a simple delay make AI a better partner for doctors spotting cancer?

NCT ID NCT07158203

Summary

This study aims to improve how doctors use artificial intelligence (AI) during colonoscopies to identify potentially cancerous polyps. Researchers will have 70 experienced endoscopists review videos of small polyps. The key test is whether showing the AI's diagnosis suggestion at the end of a short video clip, rather than immediately, helps doctors think more critically and make more accurate decisions.
