First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This small study tested a new artificial intelligence system that automatically controls blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Three adults who use insulin at home had their blood sugar managed by the AI system for 24 hours while eating three standard meals. The goal was to see if the system could keep blood sugar in a safe range and avoid dangerously low levels.
