Summary

This small study tested a new artificial intelligence system that automatically controls blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Three adults who use insulin at home had their glucose kept between 100-140 mg/dL for 24 hours while eating three standard meals. The goal was to see if the system is safe and works as intended in a hospital setting.
