AI steps in to help doctors spot lung problems on X-Rays
NCT ID NCT06075836
Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help healthcare professionals read chest X-rays more accurately and quickly. Thirty-three doctors and radiographers reviewed 500 past chest X-rays, once with the AI's help and once without, to see if it improved their performance. The goal was to see if this technology could assist doctors who regularly need to interpret these images in emergency and hospital settings.
