First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help emergency room doctors better interpret heart CT scans for people with chest pain. About 530 adults at intermediate risk for a heart attack will be randomly assigned to have their scans read with or without AI assistance. The goal is to see if AI improves accuracy and confidence in diagnosing heart problems.
