Florida launches AI cancer trial: custom treatments for tough cases

Summary
This Florida-based study is testing whether an AI platform can quickly find personalized treatment options for cancer patients whose disease has returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. The program will enroll 210 patients, with special focus on underserved communities including children and minority populations. Doctors will use the AI recommendations to help choose the next line of treatment, aiming to extend the time patients live without their cancer worsening.
