AI scans mammograms to flag hidden cancer risk
NCT ID NCT07121972
Summary
This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Mirai that analyzes standard mammogram images to predict a woman's risk of developing breast cancer. Researchers want to see if women the AI flags as high-risk benefit from getting an extra MRI scan, which can detect cancers mammograms sometimes miss. The goal is to improve how doctors decide who needs more intensive screening.
