Summary

This study looks back at medical records of 200 people diagnosed with atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) in Egyptian hospitals between 2010 and 2023. aHUS is a rare, life-threatening disease that damages kidneys and other organs. The goal is to describe patient characteristics, disease course, and current treatments to improve early diagnosis and care in Egypt.
