Summary
This study looked at healthy skin tissue from 58 adults in two age groups (18-40 and 55+) to understand why cancer risk rises with age. Researchers checked for signs of cell aging and DNA damage that might make cells more likely to turn cancerous. The goal was to learn more about the aging process, not to test a treatment.
