First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a new surgery called BEAR for torn ACLs, where a special implant and the patient's own blood help the ligament heal. Researchers want to see if younger or older patients have better results two years after surgery. About 250 people with recent ACL tears will join, and their knee function and safety will be tracked.
