New eye injection study aims to control vision loss in chinese patients

Summary
This study tests a higher dose (8 mg) of the drug aflibercept in Chinese patients with polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV), an eye condition that can cause vision loss. About 174 people will receive three monthly eye injections, then be assigned to one of two follow-up schedules to see which better controls the disease and improves eyesight over 52 weeks. The goal is to find a safe and effective treatment plan to manage this chronic condition.
