NCT ID NCT05563077
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at whether 4 months of moderate-intensity interval training (alternating harder and easier exercise) is better than steady moderate-intensity continuous training for lowering 24-hour blood pressure in people with resistant hypertension. 72 adults with resistant hypertension will be randomly assigned to interval training, continuous training, or usual care. The goal is to see which exercise approach works best and to understand the biological changes behind it.
