New approach to rectal cancer: less invasive procedure under review
NCT ID NCT07410767
Summary
This study looks at medical records from 300 adults who had rectal tumors removed between 2015 and 2025. Researchers want to compare newer endoscopic techniques (using a tube through the rectum) with traditional surgery to see which is safer and more effective. The goal is to help doctors choose the best treatment approach for future patients with rectal cancer.
