First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study reviews medical records from 70 adults with advanced polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) who are already taking the drug octreotide LAR. The goal is to find out which early signs, like total kidney volume, best predict how fast kidney function will drop over time. No new treatments are being tested; instead, researchers hope to learn more about the disease to improve future care.
