First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at why some people with obesity have normal blood sugar while others do not. Researchers will measure how much sugar fat and muscle tissues take up in 90 adults, including those who are lean or obese with or without insulin resistance. Participants may also undergo a weight loss program to see how it changes sugar metabolism.
