New drug shows promise for fatty liver in early trial

Summary
This study tests a drug called ADI-PEG 20 for people with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a serious fatty liver disease. About 60 adults with confirmed NASH will receive either the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces liver fat measured by MRI.
