New combo therapy targets Hard-to-Treat salivary gland tumors
NCT ID NCT07579598
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment for people with salivary gland cancer that has come back or spread. First, patients get an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that delivers chemotherapy directly to cancer cells. If the disease stabilizes or only a few new spots appear, they also receive precise, high-dose radiation (SBRT) to those spots, then continue the ADC. The goal is to see if this combo can shrink tumors or slow the disease. About 40 adults with certain types of head and neck salivary gland cancer will take part.
