New combo therapy targets Hard-to-Treat salivary gland tumors
NCT ID NCT07579598
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment for people with advanced salivary gland cancer that has come back or spread. First, patients receive a targeted drug that delivers chemotherapy directly to cancer cells. Then, if the disease is stable or only a few new spots appear, they get precise, high-dose radiation. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control the disease longer. About 40 adults aged 18-80 will take part.
