Summary
This study tested whether a dietary supplement called phosphatidylserine (PS) can improve blood flow and insulin response in people with type 2 diabetes. The supplement works by blocking an enzyme (ADAM17) that may interfere with blood vessel function. Researchers measured leg blood flow and artery flexibility in 36 adults aged 45-64 with type 2 diabetes.
