Trauma brain bleed registry aims to improve treatment choices

NCT ID NCT07490197

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study gathers information from trauma patients with acute subdural hematoma (a type of brain bleed) to compare standard surgery and a newer procedure called middle meningeal artery embolization. Researchers will review medical records from about 100 adults treated at one hospital over five years. The goal is to learn which treatments work best, not to test a new drug or device.
