Summary
This study looks at how often hospitalized patients develop acute kidney injury (a sudden drop in kidney function). Researchers will review medical records of 43,000 patients to find out how common it is, which hospital units have the highest rates, and how it affects recovery and survival. The goal is to better understand the problem so hospitals can improve care.
