First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adults who have weight-loss surgery (sleeve gastrectomy) can recover safely at home instead of in the hospital. 28 patients were randomly assigned to either home care or hospital care. The goal was to see if home care is just as good for recovery, including how long patients stay in the hospital and how much pain medicine they need.
