Ancient needles meet modern medicine in major lung cancer trial

Summary
This study is testing if adding electro-acupuncture to standard first-line treatment helps people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 424 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real or sham acupuncture alongside their immunotherapy and chemotherapy drugs. The main goal is to see if the combination improves disease control and quality of life compared to standard treatment alone.
