Ancient needles meet modern medicine: can acupuncture boost cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07337096
Summary
This study is testing whether adding electro-acupuncture to standard first-line treatment (immunotherapy plus chemotherapy) helps people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 424 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real or sham acupuncture alongside their cancer drugs. The main goal is to see if the combination improves disease control and quality of life compared to standard treatment alone.
