Needle vs. herbal injection: which eases neck pain better?

NCT ID NCT06520462

Summary

This study compared two Korean medicine treatments to see which works better for chronic neck pain. 128 adults with neck pain lasting over 3 months were randomly assigned to receive either acupuncture or pharmacopuncture (injections of herbal extracts). Doctors chose the specific techniques based on each patient's needs, and pain levels were tracked for 5 weeks.
