Summary

This study compares acupuncture with standard medication to see which works better for reducing anxiety and mild to moderate depression in adults in China. Researchers will also look at costs and environmental impact. 120 adults who haven't had mental health treatment in the past 6 months will be assigned to either acupuncture or medication based on their preference.
