Ancient meets modern: acupuncture trial tests herbal cream against standard psoriasis treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether combining acupuncture with a traditional Chinese herbal cream works as well as combining acupuncture with the standard topical medication calcipotriol for treating plaque psoriasis. It will involve 28 adults with mild-to-moderate psoriasis who haven't had recent treatment. The main goal is to see which combination better reduces the severity and area of skin plaques and improves quality of life.
