Ancient meets modern: study tests acupuncture & herbal cream for skin condition

Summary
This study is testing if combining acupuncture with a traditional Chinese herbal cream works as well as or better than combining acupuncture with a standard medicated cream (calcipotriol) for treating mild plaque psoriasis. It will involve 28 adults with mild psoriasis to see which combination better reduces the severity of their skin patches and improves their quality of life.
