Acupuncture may cool hot flashes in prostate cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether acupuncture can ease hot flashes in men receiving hormone therapy for prostate cancer. Hot flashes are a common side effect that can disrupt sleep, mood, and daily life. About 40 men will receive real or sham acupuncture to see if it reduces hot flash frequency and severity, and improves quality of life.
