Needle this: acupuncture may cool hot flashes in men with prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests whether acupuncture can reduce hot flashes and improve sleep and quality of life in men receiving hormone therapy for prostate cancer. Twenty-four men will be randomly assigned to start acupuncture right away or after a delay, and all will receive standard lifestyle education. Participants will track symptoms daily and wear a Fitbit to monitor sleep. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helpful enough to test in a larger study.
