Gentle touch therapy tested to help tiniest babies breathe
NCT ID NCT07187232
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle massage technique called acupressure could help premature babies who have fluid in their lungs. Researchers worked with 42 very small babies to see if acupressure could help them breathe easier, need less oxygen support, and potentially shorten their hospital stay. The goal was to find a safe, non-drug method to manage a common and serious breathing complication.
