First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looked at whether acupressure can help premature babies (born at 32 weeks or earlier) who have lung infiltrates (fluid in the lungs). The goal was to see if it reduces the need for suctioning, improves heart rate and breathing, and shortens hospital stays. 42 babies participated, and researchers tracked their daily suctioning frequency and vital signs.
