Ear acupressure may ease surgery nerves for breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07423039

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests if placing small seeds on specific points of the ear (auricular acupressure) can lower anxiety and pain in women having breast cancer surgery. 66 women with a new breast cancer diagnosis will either receive the acupressure plus standard care, or standard care alone. The goal is to see if this simple, non-needle technique helps patients feel calmer and more comfortable before and after surgery.
