Bus drivers test tiny workouts to beat the chair

NCT ID NCT06880211

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at whether short activity breaks, called 'activity snippets,' could help bus and tram drivers move more and sit less during their workday. 70 drivers from a German transit company wore activity trackers to measure their movement. The goal was to see if these mini-breaks are better than just general advice to be active.
