First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether an investigational drug (activin ligand-trap) combined with exercise training can improve exercise capacity and thinking skills in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. About 48 adults aged 40 and older with obesity will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug helps them use oxygen better during exercise and boosts cognitive function.
