NCT ID NCT06059599

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to help patients understand complex spine or urology surgeries before they agree to them. About 300 adults scheduled for surgery will either get the usual consent process or a new multimedia approach with videos and quizzes. The goal is to see if the new method improves patient satisfaction and understanding of the procedure and its risks.
