First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month online spin cycling program can improve vision and daily function in veterans aged 65-89 with intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Participants will exercise together from home while researchers measure changes in contrast sensitivity, night vision, and overall well-being. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to ease the burden of AMD.
