NCT ID NCT05932069

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month online spin cycling program can improve vision and daily function in 70 veterans aged 65-89 with intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD). AMD is a leading cause of vision loss, and there are few treatments. Participants will join group spinning classes from home, and researchers will measure changes in contrast sensitivity, night vision, and other health outcomes.
