First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a drug called acalabrutinib in 48 adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who have a specific genetic change (deletion 17p). The goal was to see how well the drug controls the cancer. Participants took acalabrutinib pills, and researchers measured tumor shrinkage or disappearance. Since patients may need ongoing treatment, this is a disease control study.
