New acne gel shows promise in large trial

Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests a new gel (N-Acetyl-GED-0507-34-LEVO) applied once daily for 12 weeks to reduce acne lesions on the face and trunk. About 400 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active gel or a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in lesion counts and overall acne severity using a standard doctor rating scale.
