Major study aims to stop young athletes from blowing out their knees again

NCT ID NCT03935750

Summary

This study aims to find the best surgical method to repair a torn ACL (knee ligament) and prevent it from tearing again. It will compare two types of tissue grafts taken from the patient's own knee, with or without an extra stabilizing stitch. The goal is to improve long-term knee health and function for over 1,200 young, active people at high risk of re-injury.
