Can a Split-Speed treadmill retrain your knee after ACL surgery?

NCT ID NCT06529692

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study to see if a special treadmill training program can help improve how people walk and load their knee after ACL reconstruction surgery. The program uses a 'split-belt' treadmill where each leg walks at a slightly different speed. Researchers will enroll 9 participants who have had recent ACL surgery to test if this 6-week training changes their knee mechanics compared to a placebo group.
