First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests if adding a mild electrical stimulation to the sciatic nerve can improve recovery after ACL knee surgery. About 62 adults who had a specific type of ACL repair will receive either standard physical therapy, physical therapy plus the nerve stimulation, or a placebo version. The goal is to see if the stimulation boosts muscle strength, reduces pain, and improves knee movement.
