First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests whether a mixture of natural viruses, called AchromoPhage, is safe for adults with cystic fibrosis who have long-term lung infections from Achromobacter bacteria. Twelve participants will receive the treatment by inhalation, IV, or both, and be monitored for side effects and changes in lung function. The goal is to find a new way to control these hard-to-treat infections.
