Summary
This study looked at two common treatments for Achilles tendon pain in football players: special calf exercises and wearing heel lifts in shoes. Twenty-four male players aged 18 to 30 with Achilles pain for at least a month took part. They were split into two groups and followed for 12 weeks to see which approach improved pain, movement, and function better.
