Common fever pill may unlock longer walks for MS patients

NCT ID NCT07440446

Summary

This study is testing whether acetaminophen (like Tylenol) can help people with multiple sclerosis walk for longer periods before getting tired. Researchers think the medication's fever-reducing effect might help because heat worsens MS fatigue. Twenty participants will walk on a treadmill after taking either acetaminophen or a placebo, then switch treatments a week later to compare results.
